Found this while surfing the net today. Van Fanel (from the anime Escaflowne) has always been my favorite character ever! His character’s just made so beautifully (development-wise if not aesthetically).

After our lessons on the winged victory, Van Fanel kinda echoes that to me now.

Why I brought it up? Because I’d love to use Van’s character as an inspiration for the protagonist in a story I’m planning to write.

In class we discussed how Nike referred to the victory and to the games. Was thinking of writing a short story of angels and sports. Ever since my many sports-related papers over my college life, I’ve become quite interested in representing it in many ways. This just happened to be another. Atheletes and their Guardian Angels. Thought it was cute. Just an idea. XD
